Raw Donuts

Ingredients: 

Ingredients for the donuts: 

  • 500 g/ 18 oz fresh dates (measured without pits) 
  • 200 g/ 7 oz of raw coconut flour

Ingredients for the glaze: 

  • 100 g/ 3.5 oz of fresh dates (measured without pits) 
  • 1 Tablespoon of raw carob powder 
  • ½ cup of purified water 

Order raw carob powder:

Equipment: 

  • A food processor
  • A blender
  • A decorating cake pipe

Preparation: 

  • Remove the pits from the dates; 
     
  • Place the dates and coconut flour into the food processor; 
  • Blend these ingredients into a paste; 
     
  • Form the paste into mini donuts; 
  • We have the donuts done, and now, let's make the glaze! 
     
  • Place the dates, carob powder and water into the blender; 
  • Blend these ingredients into the glaze; 
  • Place the glaze into a decorating cake pipe; 
  • Zig-zag the glaze over the donuts; 

  • Tanana – the donuts are done!
