Ingredients:

  • lettuce – type and quantity of your choice, in this video I use 3 heads of butternut lettuce
  • 500 g / 17 oz seedless tangerines
  • 30 g / 1 oz shelled hemp seeds*
  • 1 pomegranate

Interesting facts about hemp seeds:

Hemp seeds…

  • are the only seeds that do not contain phytic acid, so they do not need to be soaked before use.
  • unlike most nuts and seeds, they have a very favorable ratio of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids.
  • do not require dehydration after their removal from the shells.
  • come from a hemp plant that is grown organically.

Equipment:

  • salad spinner
  • mixing bowl
  • salad bowl
  • blender

  • Chop the lettuce leaves and place them in the salad spinner.
  • Dry the lettuce in the salad spinner.

  • Leaving one tangerine for garnish, put the tangerines and hemp seeds in the blender.
