Grain-Free Porridge

  • ripe bananas**
  • blackberries
  • strawberries

*Quantities of your choice. Just to give you an idea: on a low fat raw vegan diet, my usual spring lunch is a fruit porridge like this one, containing about 1.2 kg/ 2.6 lbs of bananas (measured without skins) and 1-2 cups of berries.

**Bananas are ripe when their skins are spotted.


  • banana masher
  • porridge bowl
  • spoon


  • Peel the bananas;
  • Place the bananas in the porridge bowl;

  • Mash the bananas;

  • Add some berries of your choise to the mashed bananas;
  • Mash everything together;
  • Decorate the porridge with some whole banana and berries on top;

  • Enjoy!
